DESCRIPTION:\nClaremont Parks & Recreation is proud to partner with the Cla
 remont Conservation Commission and UNH Cooperative Extension to offer a ha
 nds-on Tree Identification Walk for community members of all ages.\n\nJoin
  UNH Sullivan County Extension Forester Dode Gladders for an engaging outd
 oor workshop focused on identifying common forest trees using leaves and b
 ark. Participants will also be introduced to helpful field guides and smar
 tphone apps that make tree identification easy and enjoyable long after th
 e walk is over.\n\nThe group will meet in the parking lot on Maple Avenue\
 , located approximately 0.8 miles west of Route 11. This program includes 
 an easy\, guided walk lasting about two hours. Participants are encouraged
  to dress for the outdoors and bring bug spray\, water\, and any snacks th
 ey may need.\n\nThis event is free and open to the public\, however regist
 ration is required. In the event of inclement weather\, the program will b
